Logyn Okuda is a film and television composer raised in Hawaii, now in Los Angeles.
Logyn is a composer for film and television originally from Honolulu, HI. Growing up a jazz drummer/vibraphonist, it was during the Pandemic that he discovered classical music. After studying at Interlochen Center for the Arts, he dove deep into composers such as Ravel, Messiaen, and Goldsmith to name a few. He is heavily influenced by the collaborative aspects of jazz and Post-Impressionist stylings that continue to be seen in his work today.
Logyn was recently a finalist in ‘The American Prize’ for his piano rhapsody, Return to Sky, nominated for the 2025 'Emerging Composer Award' from Apulia Soundtrack Awards in Italy, and won ‘Outstanding Achievement Award for Original Score’ in the 2024 IndieX Film Festival.
